Award Scheme Development Accreditation Network
The Award Scheme Development Accreditation Network (ASDAN) award scheme gives pupils the chance to complete challenges that can then be awarded credits. These credits can be totalled up and can then contribute towards a nationally recognized award.
It is not suggested that Angling in Schools would co-ordinate a full Asdan programme, this would remain within the school, but Angling in Schools is ideally placed to liaise with the individual school, and can structure challenges, that support and enhance existing programmes.
Angling in school can readily design challenges that support science, technology, mathematics, geography, plus areas of team work and social interaction.
Angling can give many opportunities to build individual self esteem, and group cohesion, both academically and socially.
We would be happy to meet with you to design study packages for single or multiple challenges that meet your specific needs.
